Comments From The Farmer

The future of American Agriculture must be preserved. With urban growth continuing and the increasingly heavy and unbalanced burden of regulation, restriction, and outright taking of land by the government, less and less farmers and farmland remain. Unless farmers can keep and run their farms and sell their produce in markets such as these, the farmers, their land, and the finest produce will become a thing of the past.

About 30% of the fruits and vegetables for the entire country are produced in the Sacramento/Central valley area! Yet from water to land use to excessive regulation, many legislators and bureaucrats seem to put feeding the people as the lowest priority. No farms means no food, and it doesn't get any simpler than that!

We are farmers because of our love of and care for the land, and for what we can bring to you. Please help us sustain this for the next generations by supporting certified markets and farmers, by becoming involved in educating others about this heritage, and by speaking out against regulatory extremism. Thank you!
